How To Add PayPal In Your Forms On WordPress 2020

Step- 1. Setup WPForms

After purchasing WPForms, login to your WordPress dashboard and Install and activate the plugin.

Once you have done doing it, Click WPForms > Addons and install the PayPal Standard Addon.

Next, we are going to create our form with WPForms in WordPress.

Step- 2. Creating your form

WPForms is a drag and drop form builder plugin, so for creating any type of form, you don’t need any coding knowledge.

And their pre-made templates help to create any type of form in just one single click.

Click on WPForms > Add New, enter the name of your form, and select a template. If you want to create your form from scratch, choose the ‘Blank Form’ template.

For this tutorial, I will be going to select the Billing / Order Form.

If you add any extra fields, simply hover-over on that field and drag it from left to right. And to delete any field, hover-over on that field and click the delete icon.

Step- 3. Add PayPal to your form

To add PayPal to your form, click on the Payments tab from your left, and choose PayPal Standard.

Here you need to configure all the settings properly. Before configuring it, make sure you already created an account in PayPal.

a. Check the box called ‘Enable PayPal Standard Payments’

b. Enter your PayPal email address. 

c. Here you can see two types of mode, one is ‘Production’ and another is ‘Test/Sandbox.

If you want to test your form, then select ‘Test/Sandbox’ mode, but after your test is complete, don’t forget to select ‘Production’ mode and click save.

d. Choose the type of payment. If you have a donation form, then select the ‘Donation’ and if you have a product or service selling form, then select ‘Products and Services’.

e. If someone cancels the payment, you can send them to another page. And for that, enter the URL here where you want to redirect them.

f and g. You can also customize the shipping address options, and choose whether to ask donors to include a note during the PayPal checkout.

h. Conditional logic helps to show different content based on a user’s selections.

In the end, don’t forget to click Save to save all the changes.

Step- 4. Adding your form on your pages

You can add this to any of your pages, posts, sidebars, also if you want you can use this form with your page builders (like Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, etc.).

To add your form to your page, create a new page or edit your existing page and search for WPForms in your Guternerg editor and choose the form you want to add.
